Is there a deposit for the laundry bag?
Yes — there is a one-time $10 deposit for your Archimedes laundry bag. Anytime you decide to discontinue service, the deposit will be returned to you in full. There is no refund for lost or heavily damaged bags. If that happens, we will provide you with a new bag along with a new $10 deposit.
How much does it cost?
$25 flat fee per pickup. No weight limits, no hidden fees, no surprises. Ever.
What if I'm not home during pickup?
You don't need to be. Just leave your bag in your designated pickup spot — front porch, side entrance, wherever you told us — on Tuesday. We'll text you minutes before we arrive. We come, we grab it, we go. No contact required.
Is there a weight limit?
No. Fill the bag up. Pack it full. The price is $25 regardless of how much is in there. That's the whole point of a flat fee — no surprises, no penalties for a heavy bag.
What if I want to skip a week?
No problem at all. When we text you Sunday, just reply NO and you're off the schedule that week. No fees, no penalties, no explanation needed. We'll check in again the following Sunday.
I have a stain I'm worried about. What do I do?
When you reply YES on Sunday, just add a note describing it — "red wine on the left sleeve of my white shirt" — and we'll look for it specifically before the wash. Every order gets a stain spot-check anyway, but specific notes help us find the tough ones.
Will my clothes be mixed with other people's clothes?
Never. Every order runs its own separate wash cycle. Your clothes are the only clothes in that drum. No commingling, no shared lint, no mystery fabric from someone else's load.
What about delicate items?
If you have items that are truly delicate, hand-wash only, or dry-clean only — keep those out of the bag. When in doubt, leave it out and let us know if you have questions.
Do you do dry cleaning?
Not yet — right now we do wash, dry, and fold only. If dry cleaning is something enough customers want, we'll look into adding it down the road.
Where exactly do you pick up?
Typically near your front door or porch. We will work with you to make the pickup seamless.
How do I pay?
Every Tuesday morning we send you a Venmo request for $25 to @ArchimedesLaundry. Payment is due Tuesday. No payment by Tuesday means we'll skip that week and check back in the following Sunday. No subscription, no card on file, no surprises.
What if I have a problem with my order?
Text us at (470) 228-2497 or email hello@washclub4u.com and we'll make it right. We're a small operation — you're not submitting a ticket to a call center. If something's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Can I change my detergent preference?
Yes — just mention it when you reply to the Sunday confirmation text. "Switching to Gain this week" is all you need to say. We'll update your profile for future orders too if you want a permanent change.
Can I have more than 1 bag?
Yes. There's a $10 one-time deposit for each bag. After that, it's $25 per bag each time you submit an order — 1 bag picked up is $25, 2 bags is $50, and so on.
Can I add a comforter or other large item if my bag is full of clothes?
Yes. Place the comforter in its own bag and set that on top of your Archimedes Laundry bag. Each comforter is an additional $10. Or wait until the following week and add your comforter and a few other items to your regular bag — no extra charge that way.
